COPIER SUPPORT / unable to print envelopes

unable to print envelopes

Hi,

I came to this forum some time ago with the same problem -- unable to print envelopes. The answers here were not helpful, as the person responding thought I had an envelope that was not compliant with the printer. Though, I was using a standard business envelope (No. 10).

Geek Squad online was able to get my printer to work, and afterwards, I have had no problem printing envelopes, maybe for close to a year now.

Unfortunately, there were updates, recently apparently, and I now cannot get my computer to recognize the envelope size.

I just wonder what caused HP to create a printer that could not recognize the envelope size and use it.

Hmmmm......

I have also read where many people have had the same problem with their printer of the same brand.

In addition, I chose the "board" for this thread labeled "laser jet printer."

The only other option was "Ink Jet Printer."

How am I to know what I have? All my printer says is HP ENVY 4520. Seems like it should say on the printer, but, hey, that's just me.

I guess I will have to take a list of addresses to a print shop and have them print my envelopes for me.

Unless, by chance, after all this time, there is someone here who has figured this out and can give me an answer that will work.

I hope so.

Fuji Xerox Suing Former Fuji Xerox NZ Executives in Wake of Accounting Scandal

Japan’s Fuji Xerox, the joint venture between Xerox and Fujifilm Holdings, reports that it’s filed a lawsuit against former Fuji Xerox New Zealand senior executives in the wake of an approximate $350 million accounting scandal at Fuji Xerox’s New Zealand subsidiary.

The company said in a statement today that Fuji Xerox New Zealand, Fuji Xerox Finance, and their parent shareholder, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, had filed civil proceedings in the High Court at Auckland in New Zealand against former senior executives at Fuji Xerox New Zealand, but didn’t release the names of individuals charged in the lawsuit.

Fuji Xerox Asia-Pacific chief executive Isamu Sekine said in a statement: “Fuji Xerox is committed to resolving these past issues and ensuring they do not happen again. Customers can be confident that Fuji Xerox New Zealand is committed to running its business in a principled way and will continue to lead the market in the delivery of print, document management and business optimisation solutions.”

As we reported earlier this week,¬ New Zealand government officials are reportedly probing Fuji Xerox New Zealand practices that reportedly include ‚Äúmassive salaries, made-up sales, and nepotism.‚ÄĚ The New Zealand Commerce Commission is said to be forcing the New Zealand Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) to hand over documents that include information concerning Fuji Xerox.¬ Fuji Xerox has also been ‚Äúvoluntarily suspended‚ÄĚ from competing for New Zealand government business.
